Data Deletion Instructions — Gratitude Journal

Key point: Your journal entries are stored locally on your device. The app does not create an account.

1) Delete your journal data (on-device)

  • If the app has a “Delete all entries / Reset” option — use it.
  • Or uninstall the app: Settings → Apps → Gratitude Journal → Uninstall.
  • Or clear app data: Settings → Apps → Gratitude Journal → Storage → Clear data.

2) Ads / identifiers (if the free version shows ads)

If ads are enabled, the app may use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Some advertising identifiers and diagnostic signals may be processed by Google. You can limit or reset identifiers using Android settings.

  • Reset/delete Advertising ID: Settings → Privacy → Ads (path may vary by Android version).
  • Manage ad personalization: Google account ad settings / My Ad Center.
